Course Description

Prerequisite: Ability to work in a team. Each student will be provided with an individual computer for editing and will share photography equipment.

Girls in the course will build a photography portfolio and learn how to capture the perfect shot. Equipped with professional DSLR cameras and tools from Adobe, girls will learn the technical and creative aspects of photography and digital editing. They’ll tie it all together by discovering the elements of brand identity and web design.

This course introduces girls ages 10-15 to STEM principles that set the foundation for artistic futures in fields like web design, graphic design, photography, and more. Using the latest graphic design software and high-end DSLR cameras, all girls in these web design camps learn how to create a website and take high quality photos. Students of all skill levels leave the program with completed projects they can be proud of.
